These days money is tight... And, the only way to press the refresh button on your wardrobe is to dig (as gracefully as possible) through rows and piles and racks of Forever21 and H&M.. Unfortunately, the laws of the Fashion Cycle state that the moment you see a trend at a mass merchant, you know it's on it's way out. And no self-respecting fashionista would wear the so-last-season color and style that has finally trickled it's way down - with the exception of sequence perhaps. I've been resisting metallics and sequence for a while. The first time it appeared on the runways, I thought surely it was a passing fad that will be gone in a season. But much to my dismay, metallics and sequence did not go away. In fact, they've been with us for a few years. Sequence trickled it's way down and then back up again a few times. So, is it time to stop resisting and start buying? Especially, now that it's down at Forever 21 prices, it might not be a bad idea.
